Job Description
The Senior HR Generalist will serve as the global human resources function at REdirect Consulting. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to take full ownership of HR in a dynamic, international organization – as the HR department of one. The role spans a wide range of responsibilities, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefit administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and the ability to work collaboratively with leadership to foster a positive and productive workplace culture. This individual must be both strategic and hands-on—ready to shape HR initiatives while also rolling up their sleeves to execute and manage day-to-day processes across our teams in the United States, the UK, India, and Australia.
Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
• Deliver precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner and with the highest degree of accuracy
• Manage relationship with PEO and oversee all related processes, ensuring efficient and compliant employment administration
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and global employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices; reviews and updates policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Track and report on key HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making for both U.S. and global teams
• Analyze trends and provide insights to improve HR processes and employee satisfaction across all regions
• Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned
Talent Management & Development
• Be accountable for HR processes such as talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, culture and engagement initiatives that drive a high performing team
• Partner with people managers and L&D to support the delivery of appropriate training and development programs
Recruiting & Onboarding
• Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection
Employee Relations & Coaching
• Coach and advise people managers on the full spectrum of employee relations issues across multiple countries
Culture & Engagement
• Contribute to building and sustaining our company culture as we continue to grow and evolve
Required Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years overseeing payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and related HR functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience working for a client-facing organization, such as a professional services firm or consultancy
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating effectively with company owners and senior-level management
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and state employment laws
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sense of empathy and the ability to build trust across diverse teams
• Experience supporting and engaging a distributed or fully remote workforce across multiple locations and time zones
• Proactive in staying up-to-date with trending HR practices, technologies, and applications, including the use of AI and other innovative tools to enhance HR processes and decision-making
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
• Proactive and self-motivated individual
• Experience with employee relations
• Global and culturally diverse experience is highly valued, with a strong ability to adapt to and support teams across various regions and cultures
Preferred Qualifications
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR)
• Understanding of U.S. employment-based immigration, with hands-on experience coordinating H-1B visa processes, including initial filings, transfers, renewals, and working closely with legal counsel to ensure regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of the real estate technology sector
• Knowledge of real estate software platforms (e.g., MRI Software, Yardi)
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at REdirect. In accordance with New York City, Colorado, California, and other applicable laws, REdirect is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and geography.
